In Russia, about 100,000 drones were produced last September. This information comes from the Telegram channel 'Unmanned', adding that partially the country has reached 'certain parameters' that are outlined in the drone aviation development strategy of Russia until 2030.
It is noted that by 2030, according to this strategy, Russia should have up to 180,953 drones in balance, of which 147,200 units will be produced in Russia. The industry will require 70 billion rubles annually, and a total of 560 billion rubles are allocated for the strategy.
Of those, only in the development of drones, are planning to allocate 45.5 billion rubles already in the next year. Most of the funds will be spent on infrastructure development, staff training, as well as the creation of a certification system.
It's worth mentioning that Russian drone development and production are actively progressing. Most of the developments include only domestic parts and components.
In the recent months, Russians have been introduced to frost-resistant drones for warehouse operations, ship drones that can land on a deck, drones designed to assist victims in forests, mountains and other inaccessible places and even a military kamikaze drone.
And the Russian unmanned convertiplane VETER for fighting poachers, cartography, aerial photography, and crop monitoring even became an exhibit at the Tretyakov Gallery exhibition.
