Новый хмелеуборочный комбайн прошел успешные заводские испытания в Чувашии

The "Avan" combine is a 100% domestic development — from sketches to production

In the Chuvash Republic, at the "Tekhma-Agromash" enterprise, a division of the "Tekhmashholding" company, primary tests of the new "Avan" hop harvesting combine of its own production were successfully conducted.

Vice-Premier and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Sergey Artamonov noted that the machine was developed exclusively by Russian specialists. During the tests, the combine was started first in idle mode, and then tested when working with the vine, using an innovative method of vertical combing.

The combine has a capacity of 500 vines per hour, an installed power of 37 kW, a weight of 21 tons and dimensions of 25x2x8 meters. When processing 600 vines per hour, the combine also demonstrated excellent performance, and increasing the speed to 900 vines per hour did not affect the quality of combing, which indicates the reliability of the machine. Vladimir Kalinin, General Director of Tekhmashholding LLC, noted that the capacity allows increasing the load to 1000 vines per hour.

The modern model of the combine allows reducing the number of operators from 10 to 4. In addition to control, it is only necessary to monitor the loading process, the upper mechanisms and the quality of the final product. The company's plans include staffing hop farms in Chuvashia next year, and then moving on to mass production. Tekhmashholding will be able to produce from 5 to 10 such combines per year.
