Today in the USA at 03:27 Eastern Time (10:27 Moscow time) a Falcon 9 rocket was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida with the piloted spacecraft Crew Dragon. As part of the Crew-7 mission, the Crew Dragon spacecraft will deliver three astronauts (Jasmin Mogbelly, Andreas Mogensen and Satoshi Furukawa) and one cosmonaut - Konstantin Borisov.
The docking of Crew Dragon with the ISS is scheduled for August 27th, it will take place at 15:50 Moscow time. Initially, the launch of the Crew-7 mission was scheduled for August 15th, but it was postponed several times.
Konstantin Borisov became the third Russian cosmonaut to go to the ISS on the Crew Dragon spacecraft as part of the crossflight program of NASA and Roscosmos. The first was Anna Kikina (she went to the ISS in October 2022 as part of the crew of Crew-5 mission), and the second was Andrey Fedyaev, he was part of the March mission Crew-6.
Currently, on the Russian part of the ISS, the watch is being kept by the cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and Andrey Fedyaev.
