Yandex has launched savings accounts called ‘Saves’. Initially, the new service will be available to active owners of the ‘Card Plus’, but soon the ‘Saves’ promise to open to everyone.

Users will be able to open up to 10 accounts, the maximum amount in all accounts is no more than 10 million rubles. The company emphasizes that amounts up to 1.4 million rubles are protected by the Deposit Insurance Agency, which guarantees their return.

Accounts can be replenished from ‘Card Plus’ or by transfer from other banks according to the account details. The money is withdrawn similarly. For the first three days, the rate will be 13% per annum on the account balance, after which it will be 9% per annum. At the same time, interest will be paid daily.

Recall that in April 2021 Yandex bought Akropol bank from the CEO of Svyaznoy Evgeniy Davidovich. The company also launched a service to pay for purchases in parts – ‘Split’. And two days ago Yandex launched a credit version of 'Split': the purchase payment can be arranged in parts for a period of up to two years and without a down payment.
