As reported by the publication "Kommersant", VK Group plans to open its first office in Belarus - in Minsk. It is expected that this will happen by the end of the year.

The publication's sources said that at the end of June, the Moscow office of VK was visited by the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, Dmitry Krutoy, where he spoke with the company's Vice President for new business development, Maxim Tadevosyan.

VK is gradually expanding its presence in the CIS market. So, in 2020, the company opened a representation in Kazakhstan, and in April 2023, "VK Music" launched local sections in Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. Experts surveyed by "Kommersant" believe that in Belarus VK will be able to attract game developers to its projects, as well as new advertisers.

Recall, a few days ago VK announced a change of jurisdiction: VK Company Limited will undergo a re-registration of a legal entity from the British Virgin Islands to Russia.
