Нулевая задержка сигнала, но ограниченная манёвренность: Army Recognition назвало плюсы и минусы российского доставщика оптоволоконных беспилотников «Дронобус»

Payload capacity of the ground platform is 150 kilograms

Engineers from STC "Kornei" presented the "Dronobus" ground vehicle for delivering and launching drones with fiber optic control. The development has interested an expert from Army Recognition. According to him, such a system has both advantages and disadvantages.

For "Dronobus", they apparently use long-wavelength fiber to minimize signal loss. The main advantage of the development is the virtually zero video signal delay, resistance to electronic warfare (EW) systems, and stable operation in any terrain.

The Army Recognition expert cited the limited maneuverability of the "Dronobus" and its small payload capacity as disadvantages. In addition, if the ground vehicle is blocked, the drone under its control will be ineffective.

"Dronobus" opens a new chapter in the history of conflicts involving drones. The platform makes it possible to maintain UAV capabilities even in conditions of intense electronic warfare.
