Rosoboronexport presented the newest "Rubezh-ME" coastal missile system (CMS) at the Vietnam Defense Expo in Hanoi. It was developed on the principle of a "ship on wheels" and equipped with Kh-35UE missiles with artificial intelligence.

The "Rubezh-ME" was built on the principle of a "ship on wheels." A locator, combat control systems, and a launcher are located on the high- проходимости chassis KamAZ-6560. The complex is armed with Kh-35UE anti-ship missiles equipped with artificial intelligence.

The system developer is the company "Typhoon". The manufacturers emphasized that the "Rubezh-ME" does not need additional means to obtain target designation data before opening fire.

The "Rubezh-ME" will provide control of strait zones and territorial waters, protection of naval bases and other coastal facilities, protection of the coast in landing-dangerous directions, and protection of sea communications.
