Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov visited the "Uralskiye Lokomotivy" plant in Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk region), where the first high-speed trains for the Moscow — St. Petersburg line are being manufactured. This was reported by the press service of Sinara Group.

According to Mikhail Khodorovsky, President of Sinara Group, out of 16 car bodies for the first two trains, 13 have already been welded and painted, nine have been transferred for assembly, and three more are in the laying stands. Production of car bodies for the first cars of the third train has begun. Out of 91 key components, 82 samples have been manufactured and are undergoing tests, of which 40 have already passed acceptance tests, and six have been certified.

Simultaneously, a new production complex with an area of 67 thousand square meters is being built on the enterprise's territory for the serial production of high-speed trains. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026; currently, 78% of construction and installation work has been completed. Reshetnikov noted that the plant's example shows how measures for re-engineering industrial construction rules can accelerate the creation of new enterprises. By 2030, the investment and construction cycle in Russia should be reduced to 40 months — 40% lower than the 2020 level.
