The situation in Russia's fuel market has significantly improved compared to last month, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters at Russian Energy Week.

According to him, another meeting was held yesterday with regions, the Ministry of Energy, and federal executive authorities. A number of plants have emerged from repairs, and now the situation is significantly better than a month or two weeks ago.
Novak noted that the improvement is partly due to enhanced protection of facilities. Plants are being protected, and this protection continues to be strengthened — the Deputy Prime Minister called this one of the directions for improving the situation.
Earlier, Novak stated that Russian companies are strengthening the protection of oil refineries and quickly carrying out repairs, allocating significant funds for this.
