At Zatonskaya CHPP, the main inspection and restorative repair of the TG-1 gas turbine of the 2000E series has been completed. This is one of the main units of the station, which provides electricity and heat generation for the capital of Bashkortostan.

During the repair, specialists completely disassembled the gas turbine, dismantled the rotor, and performed diagnostics of all main elements and combustion chambers. Following the defect detection, the most worn parts were replaced, including the working and guide vanes of several stages, segments of the combustion chamber bottom, and support inserts of the burners. Flame tubes, mixers, and the turbine's flow path were also restored.

Individual elements underwent repair at a specialized service center. In particular, the working blades of the third stage were restored using modern technologies, and the protective coating of the compressor blades was updated directly at the power plant site.

The internal casing of the gas turbine was prepared and modernized in advance for the repair. A new hub was manufactured for it, and a metallic and thermal barrier coating was applied, which should increase the structure's resistance to high temperatures and extend the equipment's service life.

Zatonskaya CHPP is the third largest thermal power plant in Bashkortostan by installed electrical capacity. The power plant has two power units with Russian combined cycle gas turbines with a total electrical capacity of 440 MW, operating on natural gas.
