The Russian car brand Volga is preparing two updates at once – and both concern the interior. The company's press service confirmed to the Avito Auto portal that new interiors for the K40 and K50 will appear in the near future.

K40: restyling based on Geely Atlas
The Volga K40 crossover is awaiting an interior redesign, with the updated Geely Atlas serving as the benchmark. The main change is that the vertical multimedia screen will be replaced by a horizontal one. Physical buttons and cup holders under a cover will appear on the center tunnel. In addition, the car will receive a new four-spoke steering wheel and redesigned door cards, and the media system is expected to get VK services.
In August, Volga re-certified the K40. Most likely, the documents were already processed for the updated version.
K50: minus two screens
Following the younger model, the larger K50 will also undergo changes. The focus here is on simplification and convenience: instead of three screens, there will be a dashboard and one large touchscreen. The separate display in front of the passenger and the adjustment knob will disappear, the climate control will return to conventional buttons, and the wireless charging pad will move to a new location.
The K50 is built on the Geely Monjaro platform, but the Volga's interior will be unique – the Chinese crossover does not have such a front panel and center tunnel. Both models are changing in the same direction: less touch minimalism, more familiar physical elements.
