China will take from MC-21 and SJ-100 what it doesn't have

The Celestial Empire may benefit from Russia's experience in creating import-substituted systems

Russian systems for the new MC-21-310 and SJ-100 aircraft may eventually be of interest to Chinese aircraft manufacturers. This was stated by Vadim Badeha, head of the United Aircraft Corporation.

He reminded that Russia is now independently working on creating a wide-body aircraft – without the participation of Chinese partners.

We believe that the next stage of our cooperation – the systems we have created as part of the import substitution for the SJ-100 and MC-21, and possibly will be created during the development of a wide-body aircraft, will be of interest to our Chinese partners in their projects.
Vadim Badeha, head of OAK

Badeha also reminded that all airliners built in China consist of 90% foreign equipment. In his opinion, such a path cannot be called unambiguous.

It should be noted that Russia and China have already cooperated in the creation of the CR929 wide-body passenger aircraft. As a result, the model changed from joint production to a "customer-contractor" relationship.

Earlier, a comparison of the SJ-100 with its Chinese competitor COMAC ARJ21 appeared, and the domestic aircraft did not concede in a number of parameters.
