Azur Air plans to conclude new contracts for the supply of Tu-214 and Tu-204 aircraft. This was announced by the carrier's CEO, Evgeny Korolyov.
According to him, in terms of delivery volumes, the airline will proceed from the actual needs of tour operators. Azur Air is currently evaluating the flight and technical characteristics of the airliners.

The airline's official website states that its current fleet consists of Boeing 737-800, Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300, and Boeing 777-300ER.
Earlier, on February 4, 2026, the United Aircraft Corporation (OAK), GTLK, and S7 Group signed a memorandum on the supply of 100 Tu-214 aircraft, starting in 2029.
Vedomosti wrote that the Kazan Aviation Plant (part of PAO Tupolev under OAK) will first deliver a version of the airliners with a three-person cockpit, and then move to a new layout without a flight engineer.
