United Aircraft Corporation (OAK), S7 Group, and the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK), as part of the civil aviation infrastructure exhibition NAIS 2026, signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation. This was reported by the press service of PAO "OAK".
The document develops the agreements of 2024 and confirms the parties' intention to supply 100 Tu-214 medium-haul aircraft, including aircraft with enhanced operational characteristics adapted to the operating model of S7 Airlines.
By the end of 2026, the parties intend to sign agreements defining the timing, volumes, and important terms of the deal. Deliveries of serially produced aircraft are expected to begin in 2029.
Specialists from S7 Airlines and OAK defined the technical configuration of the Tu-214 aircraft and updated the operational documentation, including a cabin layout for 213 passengers. GTLK will assume the role of financial partner and customer, organizing financing and deliveries of the new airliners.
The full operational cycle of the future aircraft will be ensured by S7 Group companies, including maintenance and crew training through the S7 Technics engineering center and the S7 Training center.
