Transmashholding (TMH) has delivered five new 81-725/726/727 model trains for the Novosibirsk Metro. This was reported in the manufacturer's press service.
The receipt of new trains marks a key stage in the implementation of the program to update the rolling stock of the Novosibirsk Metro.
The new trains feature modern design, comfort and advanced technological solutions. All main units and assemblies (asynchronous traction drive, compressor and control systems) were developed in Russia.
The train cars are equipped with a split system with forced ventilation and ultraviolet lamps that neutralize up to 99% of microbes. The cars are equipped with liquid crystal screens, USB connectors for charging devices, and the floors are covered with anti-dirt material with protection against slipping. The head cars have places for passengers with limited mobility, and the ergonomic seats are made of wear-resistant materials. Uniform lighting of the cabins creates a comfortable atmosphere at any time of the day.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the new "Moscow-2026" train was tested without passengers on two metro lines.
