Residents and guests of the capital can now take a ride on a new thematic train in the Moscow Metro, called the «Train of the Future». The unique train is dedicated to the theme of smart materials, polymers, whose production has been the main activity of the company for the past 30 years.
The train's five carriages are a collection of mini-museums dedicated to different decades. Inside each carriage, like jewels, are artifacts that embody the spirit of their era. Among them you can see a telephone from the 1920s, the Saturn vacuum cleaner, which became a design icon from the 1970s, as well as the iconic Tetris and one of the first mobile phones with an antenna, symbolizing the 1990s.
The train is divided into thematic zones:
- Carriage of the 1920–1970s — the period of formation of the chemical industry
- Carriage of the 1990s — a time of change in the industry
- Carriage of the 2010s — modern technologies
- Carriage dedicated to the current use of polymers
- Carriage with promising future developments
