The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) expects the delivery of 3 Il-114 regional passenger aircraft to airlines this year, according to the head of the agency, Dmitry Yadrov.
The delivery of MC-21-310 and Superjet-100 in a fully Russian configuration is tied to the completion of certification of these aircraft, which we expect to be completed this year.
According to him, certification flights are currently underway. At the same time, tests of the Russian PD-8 engine for the Superjet-100 are being completed. The tests are in the final stage and are proceeding as normal, Yadrov emphasized.
The head of Rosaviatsiya warned that after the necessary documents are issued for the aircraft, it will take at least 3 months before air carriers begin to operate them. This is due to the training of crews, as well as the running-in of the aircraft, he concluded.
