The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) expects the delivery of 3 Il-114 regional passenger aircraft to airlines this year. This was stated by the head of the agency, Dmitry Yadrov.
The delivery of the MS-21-310 and Superjet-100 in a fully Russian configuration is tied to the completion of certification for these aircraft, which we expect to be completed this year.
According to him, certification flights are currently underway. At the same time, testing of the Russian PD-8 engine for the Superjet-100 is being completed. The tests are at the final stage and are proceeding normally, Yadrov emphasized.
The head of Rosaviatsiya warned that after the necessary documents are issued for the aircraft, at least 3 months will pass before air carriers begin operating them. This is related to crew training, as well as the run-in of the airliners, he concluded.
