The head of Rosaviatsiya and chairman of the board of directors of Domodedovo Airport, Dmitry Yadrov, announced that the airport audit has been completed. The sale of the facility will begin after the New Year.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit against 32 companies associated with the airport, as well as against the former owner of the holding, Dmitry Kamenshchik, and the chairman of the board of directors, Valery Kogan. The claims concerned the transfer of the Domodedovo group of companies under foreign influence.
On June 17, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region granted the claim for the transfer of Domodedovo Airport to the state revenue. On June 19, Rosimushchestvo received DME Holding, which owns the airport's assets. The next day, the former First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Andrei Ivanov, became the general director of Domodedovoerfield, which has been managing the airport's structures since June 20, including Domodedovo Fuel Facilities, Domodedovo Passenger Terminal, Domodedovo Integration, and others, as well as DME Holding.
Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov announced that an open auction for the privatization of the airport will be held in early 2026, and investors are already showing interest.
