Ford files 10 new trademark applications in Russia

The documents concern the Bronco, Mustang, F-150 models and the Lincoln brand

American company Ford Motor Company has filed ten new trademark applications in Russia, TASS reports.

The applications include the names of models — Bronco, Expedition, Explorer, F-150, Mustang, Ranger, Tourneo and Transit. The company also filed an application for registration of the Lincoln brand and its logo, under which luxury cars are produced.

The documents were received on December 24, 2025 from Ford Motor Company from the USA. Almost all trademarks, except Lincoln, are registered only under one class of the International Classification of Goods and Services (No. 12) — automobiles and components. Lincoln is additionally registered under classes No. 35 and No. 37 — sale and advertising of cars, as well as their repair.

Ford has not submitted applications for trademark registration in Russia since 2013. Previously, the company also filed two applications for registration of "Ford" and Ford. In 2022, Ford suspended operations in the Russian Federation.
