The Airspace Control System (ASCS) transmits target designation to the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (SAM) and the Zubr anti-drone system. This was stated by Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec Armaments Cluster.
The ASCS was developed by specialists of the Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Engineering (part of the "High-Precision Systems" holding). The holding has a number of effective solutions for combating UAVs, Ozdoev added.
„Zubr“ can be guided by „Pantsir“. And „Zubr“, in turn, can use Multitochie cartridges to engage targets.
The ASCS not only detects and tracks air targets, but also accurately determines their coordinates. The system can detect objects flying at low altitude and at low speed (up to 10 m/s).
