The newest reconnaissance and strike system with Rus-PE guided munitions will be put into serial production soon. This was announced by a representative of the Kalashnikov concern at the World Defence Show 2026 defense exhibition.
According to him, similar loitering munitions are a global trend.
Leading foreign companies are now focusing on such simple, inexpensive, and small-sized means of destruction.
He emphasized that the concern usually studies the experience of foreign manufacturers. However, Rus-PE is the first Russian product of this kind.
Features of the Rus-PE munition:
- dual-channel homing head
- guidance in automatic, semi-automatic mode using AI technologies
- pneumatic launch from a portable transport and launch container
