Iskander-M Manufacturer Needs Japanese Machine Operator-Setter

KBM Requires Highly Qualified Specialist

JSC "Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering" (KBM) has started searching for a highly qualified operator-setter of 5th-6th grade CNC machines (milling group). The vacancy appeared on one of the job search websites.

Responsibilities include attaching parts to the machine, attaching tools, loading control programs into the machine's control panel, and correcting programs on-site if necessary.

Interestingly, KBM specified the machines the specialist will be working on. Among them are Japanese models Kitamura 3XG, Kitamura 4XiF and Kitamura Mycenter HX400iF, Taiwanese Frejoth ACRA, as well as domestic ones — Sterlitamak 500VS, Uni.5 800 U and Uni.3 MV116.

Also of interest is the qualification requirement for the applicant — not lower than the 5th grade. While a regular operator mainly presses the "Start" button and changes parts, a 5th-6th grade setter is the "brain" of the work process.

As a reminder, KBM is part of the "High-Precision Complexes" holding of the Rostec State Corporation. The Design Bureau is a developer and manufacturer of Iskander-M tactical missile systems.
