The St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (PTZ), in honor of the 160th anniversary of the Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev, presented the university with a "Kirovets" tractor in the corporate colors of RSAU-MTAA. This was reported in the press service of the university.
The tractor was transferred to the Department of Tractors and Automobiles.
The machine is equipped with an online monitoring system, which will allow students to study modern technologies of precision farming, diagnostics, and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
PTZ plans to produce unmanned "Kirovets Agrobot" tractors in 2030. The machine will not have a cabin, and control willbecome remote.
PTZ is increasing the accuracy of tractor operations. For this purpose, the "Kirovets-Agropilot" navigation system has beendeveloped.
