Weather-sensitive people can relax. Astronomers predict a calm geomagnetic environment until the end of this year. This was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of IKI and ISZF.
The remaining days until the new year will be calm. Possible flares will definitely not affect the Earth anymore (just fireworks).
The last flare of level M5.1 occurred yesterday. It was the most powerful since December 8.
According to astronomers' forecasts, there will be no magnetic storms and northern lights until the beginning of 2026. This is due to the fact that areas with flare activity areremoved from the "Sun - Earth" line.
