Russia plans to use the alloys obtained during the development of Poseidon and Burevestnik for oil and gas equipment, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov said.
He specified that the materials would be useful in the production of equipment for the extraction of hard-to-recover minerals and many other areas.
Sometimes the transformation from civilian technologies to military ones happens much faster. Of course, we will use those modern, high-strength alloys and materials that we obtained as a result of creating these advanced weapons and control systems.
At the end of 2025, Russia announced tests of an intercontinental cruise missile of global range with anuclear power plant "Burevestnik" and an unmannedunderwater vehicle "Poseidon" with a nuclear power unit.
