The new Russian Burevestnik missile has unconditional advantages over similar munitions, so Russia can be proud of the achievements of scientists and specialists. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to him, the nuclear power plant of the Burevestnik, with a comparable power to the reactor of a nuclear submarine, is 1000 times smaller.
But the most important thing is that if a conventional nuclear reactor starts up in hours and days, then this nuclear reactor installed in the Burevestnik starts up in minutes and seconds - this is a huge achievement.
The developed technologies can be applied in the future in the national economy and the lunar program, the president noted.
Putin added that the electronics used in the Burevestnik are already used in space programs. Therefore, the new missile is a breakthrough not only in increasing the defense capability of the Russian Federation, but also in science.
Military expert Alexei Leonkov explained that even the so-called "Golden Dome" will not be able to stop the Burevestnik - a promising American air defense system.
