UPD: The "Aviaremont" company stated on the morning of December 14 that the An-22 military transport aircraft that crashed in the Ivanovo region had not been repaired at the 308th aircraft repair plant shortly before the crash.
The last time the aircraft underwent inspection and restoration work with the participation of the plant's specialists was in 2007. In 2022-23, the aircraft was serviced under the program of the branch of PJSC "Il" - named after V.M. Myasishchev". Further, the aircraft was operated and serviced independently by specialists of the military unit, the company emphasized.
Telegram channel Mash reported on December 12 that the Ivanovo 308th Aviation Plant (part of the "Aviaremont" holding of the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec), which serviced the An-22 "Antei" aircraft that crashed in Ivanovo, is currently on the verge of bankruptcy. The company has a debt of more than 200 million rubles.
According to the source, nine lawsuits have been registered in the courts against the plant from the company "Energosbyt Plus" for 20 million rubles. Also, PJSC "Il" (part of UAC) demands the return of 184.6 million under a state contract for the maintenance of military transport aircraft.
According to preliminary data, the plant was acquired by Rostec in poor financial condition. Before the last flight, the An-22 aircraft was not serviced at the enterprise.
It should be recalled that at the beginning of the week, on December 9, a crash of a transport aircraft An-22 occurred in the Furmanovsky district of the Ivanovo region. There were seven crew members on board.
