The city with a population of 80,000 is once again receiving heat according to the standard — 90 degrees

Yurga Thermal Power Plant (CHPP) has returned to operation according to the approved temperature schedule, ensuring the supply of coolant with parameters of 90/70 °C. This was announced on December 14 by the head of the city of Yurga, Alexey Fomin.

As clarified by the Yurga administration with reference to the Unified Heat Supply Organization — the company "Integral", on December 11–12, the station operated in a reduced load mode due to technical necessity. To stabilize the situation at the CHPP, emergency measures were taken: three boiler units were switched to gas fuel, boiler No. 6 was additionally started on gas, and 3 thousand tons of high-quality coal were delivered to the station.

It is worth recalling that on the night of December 12, 2025, an accident occurred at the station, resulting in a decrease in heat supply parameters below the standard. With an outside temperature of about –10 °C, the temperature in residential premises in a number of houses dropped to +15 °C, which caused concern among residents of the city with a population of about 80 thousand people.

Thanks to the decisions made, by the morning of December 14, the CHPP reached the design parameters of heat supply, and the supply of heat to the city networks was fully normalized.
