The United Engine Corporation (ODK) continues to actively introduce innovative production technologies into the serial production of critical parts for domestic gas turbine units. Over 60 swirlers for the GTD-110M — a new generation engine with a design capacity of 118 MW — have already been successfully produced from high-temperature nickel alloy.
These components, which play a key role in the formation of stable combustion and efficient fuel combustion, were traditionally manufactured using complex, labor-intensive methods. The transition to new technologies has not only reduced production time and material consumption, but also improved the performance characteristics of parts due to the optimized geometry of the internal channels.
In addition to the GTD-110M, the manufactured elements are already used in NK-36ST engines used in gas pumping units.
