JSC "Tupolev" (part of the United Aircraft Corporation, Rostec State Corporation) sent PJSC "Tatneft" a proposal to conclude a settlement agreement on a claim for 11.7 billion rubles. The company has already paid part of the funds and sent two draft settlement agreements.
Both parties at the trial filed a motion to close the consideration of the case from the media, but the court refused. For example, a representative of Tupolev asked not to cover the case in the media, citing the "geopolitical situation" and the amount of the claims.
The next meeting was scheduled for January 19, 2026.
As a reminder, Tatneft filed a lawsuit against Tupolev and its branch, the Kazan Aviation Plant, in October 2025. Details of the requirements are not disclosed.
This is not the first dispute between the companies. In July, Tupolev was ordered to pay Tatneft 5.6 billion rubles of unjust enrichment, 556 million rubles of penalties and 8 million rubles of state duty in the case of non-delivery of Tu-214 aircraft to UVT Aero.
Tupolev is the manufacturer of Tu-160 "White Swan" strategic missile carriers, the parent company of the special and strategic aviation division of the UAC.
