The amount of "Tatneft's" claims against JSC "Tupolev" has increased to 7.2 billion rubles. The court supplemented the claims for interest by 1.6 billion rubles.
At the meeting of the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan on April 2, "Tatneft" asked the court to accept for production a claim for the accrual of interest on the amount of debt in the amount of 1,612,227,539.44 rubles, as well as interest for the use of other people's money and to accrue on the amount of debt for the period from April 3 to the date of the court decision.
A representative of JSC "Tupolev", in turn, asked the court to postpone the consideration of the case again, since the company continues negotiations on signing a settlement agreement with "Tatneft". The next meeting is scheduled for April 30.
PJSC "Tatneft" filed a lawsuit for 5.6 billion rubles at the end of October. Among the defendants are the Kazan Aviation Plant named after S.P. Gorbunov — a branch of "Tupolev" (Kazan) and JSC "Tupolev" (Moscow). According to the case materials, it concerns the recovery of unjust enrichment, on the recognition of a clause of the contract as invalid.
"Tupolev" is an enterprise in the field of design, production and after-sales support of missile carriers and special-purpose aircraft. "Tupolev" is the parent enterprise of the strategic and special aviation division of the United Aircraft Corporation, the manufacturer of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers.
