Ural Airlines plans to purchase at least 10 of the newest MC-21-310 aircraft by 2030 under an operating lease. This was reported to "Perviy Technicheskiy" by the carrier's press service.
Ural Airlines expects that the first three aircraft will arrive at the company as early as 2028.
To this end, the airline has approved a comprehensive program-project for the development of this type of aircraft. It includes flight operations, engineering, technical and production support for a new type of aircraft for us.
Currently, Ural Airlines operates a fleet of foreign aircraft from the Airbus A320 medium-range family. As of the beginning of April, it included four A319s, three A320neos, 22 A320ceos, eight A321neos, and 12 A321ceos. The condition of the company's aircraft fleet is currently unknown.
It is worth recalling that the largest known customer for import-substituted MC-21s is Aeroflot with a delivery of about 200 aircraft by 2030.
