A playground in the shape of an airplane will appear in Shchelkovo, Moscow region. It will be made not of plastic and plywood, but of a real Tu-134 with a rich and interesting history.
The RA-65995 was built in 1984 and sent to serve in the border troops. Then, for a long time, the airliner served in the special flight detachment "Russia", and then in "Roscosmos", it retired only in 2024. Now the wing will be reinforced, and a swing will be hung under it.
Slides in the form of ladders will allow future visitors to the exhibit to practice evacuation. There are rumors about a simulator in the cockpit and a cafe in the cabin, but fire safety standards are unlikely to allow this.
At the moment, the plane is located on the outskirts of the city, not far from the village of Lyodovo, where it was brought in parts.
By September, the car was reassembled. Today it stands on an empty plot, although ready-made concrete foundations are visible nearby, which, apparently, are intended for its installation.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will earn billions of dollars for the aviation industry by producing SJ-100 abroad.
