An armored SUV "T-98 Kombat" 2016 is offered for sale in Simferopol. The car costs 30 million rubles.
The production of these cars started in 2000. The development was carried out by the St. Petersburg company "KB Parfenov". Until 2010, the assembly was carried out at the facilities of Avtokad LLC. In 2010, production was moved to Estonia to the Combat Armor Group (CAG) plant, which was due to the optimization of logistics, since the main customers of Kombats were buyers from the Middle East.
The T-98 does not have a frame structure. Its base is made up of components and assemblies from General Motors pickups. The sample presented in the advertisement is equipped with a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engine, which develops a power of about 320 horsepower. The torque of this engine is about 790 Nm.
«Т-98 Комбат» provides protection from level B2 to the highest — B7, including protection against bullets up to 12.7 mm caliber, fired from sniper weapons, large-caliber machine guns or anti-tank rifles.
