The Indian state corporation Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is ready to work with Russia in the future on the production of new models of military aircraft, the company's press service said.
A representative of the corporation noted that the Indian side is very comfortable working with Russia. Very good relations have developed between the countries over the years of joint production of MiG-21 and Su-30MKI fighters.
We are very comfortable working with Russia. There are no problems on our part for such cooperation. We actively exchange experience with the Russians, and Russian experts help us a lot.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited currently produces the Su-30MKI multirole fighter under Russian license. On the part of the Russian Federation, the project is being implemented by Rosoboronexport and the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec State Corporation).
The HAL enterprise in Nashik recently released 15 new Su-30MKIs under a contract for the Indian Ministry of Defense. Now aircraft of this type are undergoing modernization and scheduled repairs there.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the manufacturer of the S-500 Prometey air defense system demanded almost 300 million rubles from the Saratov Aggregate Plant.
