Снизят cтоимость производства МС-21 и SJ-100 и других самолётов: новый подход к созданию композитных конструкций создали в МАИ

The method takes into account the physical and geometric properties of composites

The Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) has presented a new approach to creating composite structures for aircraft. This was reported in the press service of the university.

The Moscow Aviation Institute has developed a comprehensive methodology for the design, production, and operation of composite structures for domestic aircraft, in particular the MC-21 and SJ-100. The implementation of this methodology will accelerate and reduce the cost of creating advanced civil aircraft, as well as increase their reliability and durability.

The innovative methodology includes the "pyramid" principle of computational and experimental research. This allows for a smooth transition from the micro to the macro level.

The process begins with a detailed analysis of composites at the structural level. After that, tests are carried out on elementary samples, samples with structural layouts, and aggregates.

When we look under a microscope and identify the consequences of operational and production defects, we see the imperfection of the structure, which we can model. This allows us to predict the nature of the destruction and the further behavior of the anisotropic material. We try to analyze the levels of elementary samples in more detail, conduct tests, and validate our computational models, taking into account both intralaminar and interlaminar characteristics of composites.

The system takes into account not only the physical properties of composites but also the geometric features of structures (radii of curvature and transition thickness). Stress concentrators (holes, bolted joints, and joints of polymer composites with metals) are also investigated. Attention is also focused on key structural elements (stringer panels and spar walls, responsible joints in the aircraft structure).

Earlier, www1.ru reported that tests of composites for new generation aviation have begun in Russia.
