The "High-Precision Systems" holding of the Rostec State Corporation presented developments for the aviation industry at the International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2026". The main exhibit is the first domestic passenger telescopic gangway produced by JSC "TsNIAG". The device is equipped with electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical drives, a control and safety system, and is compatible with all types of aircraft — from regional aircraft to long-haul airliners. The passenger boarding bridge is a critical element of airport infrastructure: without it, boarding and disembarking passengers on large aircraft is impossible in a closed mode. After 2022, the supply and maintenance of imported passenger boarding bridges became more complicated — some of the equipment in Russian airports was left without manufacturer service support.
The domestic TsNIAG passenger boarding bridge ensures operation in all weather conditions and docks with aircraft of the entire fleet operated in Russia — from Superjet 100 and MC-21 to wide-body Il-96 and foreign types. Exact technical characteristics were not disclosed in the salon materials.
