Satellite images of the Russian cruiser Project 1144.2 "Admiral Nakhimov" have appeared online. The ship was moving in the area of the Kandalaksha Gulf in the White Sea.
The photo shows that the satellite sees the ship in the thermal imaging range. Approximately the same view is available to the domestic Kosmos-2550 satellites "Pion-NKS" - the only military spacecraft of the Liana MCRC system, equipped with a radar.
The heavy nuclear missile cruiser (TARKR) "Admiral Nakhimov"went to sea for the first stage of factory sea trials in the White Sea in August. Then the tests will be continued for several months in the Barents Sea.
During the modernization, 20 vertical launchers for powerful P-700 anti-ship missiles were replaced with 80 launchers for placing standard-sized cruise missiles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the half-century-old T-62 tank became a self-propelled gun thanks to the farm threshold: the firing range has doubled.
