Russian tankers have come up with a way to increase the firing range of a standard high-explosive fragmentation projectile designed to hit targets at a distance of 9000 m. However, thanks to the ingenious discovery of the soldiers, the ammunition now flies 12 km.
To do this, they began to use a specially constructed platform, thanks to which the tank's vertical aiming angles change, thereby increasing the firing range.
Currently, domestic tanks are often used as heavy, well-armored self-propelled artillery units, striking from closed positions at a great distance from the line of contact.
Therefore, the use of such devices further increases the combat effectiveness of the equipment.
