Russian airlines interested in Il-114-300 and "Baikal": preferential leasing will help

Carriers also showed interest in the new Ladoga and Osvey aircraft

Russian airlines have already begun to place orders for Il-114, Baikal, Ladoga and Osvey regional aircraft through a preferential leasing mechanism, and they will begin to be delivered as production expands, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov said.

In response to a question about the obligation of carriers to switch to new aircraft instead of the An-24s used today, Manturov stressed that a sufficient number of aircraft must first be produced.

It is always better to have motivational mechanisms, and the state has them. I mean the civil state order, which includes both the Il-114 and the Baikal in the future, as well as the Ladoga and Osvey. Through preferential leasing mechanisms, airlines are already placing orders.
Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation

Serial production of the Il-114 is expected in 2026, and the aircraft will be certified in December 2025. The Baikal should be ready for mass production no later than December 2026.

The rollout of the TVRS-44 Ladoga is scheduled for the end of December this year. A prototype of the Osvey aircraft in cooperation with Russia is planned to be created in Belarus in 2026.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Il-114-300 will increase resource and reliability thanks to new developments.
