Despite its venerable age, the UAZ "Hunter", a direct descendant of the UAZ-469, will remain in service. UAZ has officially confirmed this, having received a new Vehicle Type Approval for this model.
UAZ-2924 is the new name of the model, which belongs to cross-country cargo vehicles (N1G). Unlike previous versions, the new document does not mention a variant with a tent. However, modifications with both a swing-out tailgate and a drop-down side are now available. The expeditionary configuration allows for the installation of a roof rack and a power bumper.
Thus, the information previously published in the media about the "Hunter" being discontinued disproves itself.
