During the "July Storm" exercises, the Baltic Fleet forces destroyed a mock enemy ship using a combined application of unmanned maritime systems, the fleet's press service reported.
The fleets employ modern and advanced weaponry, including unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats, and various methods of their use are being practiced.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation released a video excerpt of the exercises. The published footage shows a group of ships, including the small anti-submarine ship (MPK) "Kabardino-Balkaria" (hull number 322), the minesweeper "Alexander Obukhov" (hull number 507), and the air-cushioned landing ship (MDK-94) "Mordovia" (hull number 782).
