Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has instructed the aviation industry to specify the exact dates for the start of serial production of import-substituted Tu-214 aircraft and Ansat helicopters, manufactured at the Kazan Aviation Plant in the capital of Tatarstan.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held a meeting on the development of aircraft construction, during which he instructed to clearly define the schedules for the production of domestic aircraft. Among the priority models are the Tu-214 aircraft and Ansat helicopters.
The head of the Cabinet emphasized that for each model it is necessary to establish a specific production date, the start of serial production, and transfer to operation. The new modification of the Il-96, the Ladoga and Osvey projects, also came under special control.
Earlier, 400 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the modernization of the Tu-214 program. The funds were redistributed after the suspension of a joint project with China.
