Specialists from the National Research University "Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology" and the company "Radiosensorika" have developed an X-band AESA radar "Vector-X" for drones. The radar device was tested in Innopolis.
Features of the «Vector-X» radar:

With its help, it is possible to monitor forest fires, river spills, observe agricultural work and engage in cartography.
It is obvious that the product will be able to detect radio-contrast ground objects, including armored vehicles, military SAMs or transport, at a distance of up to several hundred meters.
The development of NRU MIET and «Radiosensorika» is suitable for operation in the conditions of the Far North and the Arctic, where other monitoring methods are ineffective.
