For the first time in Russia, equipment for hardening railway wheels has been developed and built. This was announced by the Governor of the Tomsk Region, Vladimir Mazur.
The hardening process is fully automated and meets international quality standards.
Unlike foreign installations, the invention of Tomsk residents works with various types of railway wheels. Including for trams, subway cars, locomotives.
Software for controlling this equipment was also created by a Tomsk electronics company.
This testifies to the sovereignty of Tomsk technologies and programs. And laboratory studies of finished products confirm: Tomsk hardening meets Russian and international quality standards.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian Railways will launch additional freight trains thanks to the HSR.
