The International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) is scheduled to be held in July-August 2026 and 2027 in the city of Zhukovsky, Moscow region. This follows from a decree of the Russian government signed by the head of the Cabinet, Mikhail Mishustin.
The organizers of the event are the Rostec State Corporation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, previously stated that the event was postponed from 2025 to 2026. This year, as in the past, the MAKS air show will be held in an online format.
The show traditionally features the latest achievements of the aviation industry. It is expected that viewers will be presented with new Su-75 and Su-57 fighters, and import-substituted passenger aircraft MS-21 and SJ-100.
Earlier www1.ru reported that MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft may be supplied to Saudi Arabia: competition with Boeing and Airbus.
