RuStore Launches Instant App Download Testing

Now the Max messenger for Android can be downloaded in an average of 15 seconds

The Russian app store RuStore has begun testing instant program download technology. Now users can download applications without delays. The Max messenger is the first to support this feature, the service said. Oleg Afanasyev, Product Director of the marketplace, explained that the marketplace has implemented an effective compression method.

RuStore showed that the Max app for Android now loads in an average of 15 seconds. Afanasyev noted that previously the download could take from one to two minutes.

RuStore has implemented a new data compression method that saves traffic. This has significantly reduced the size of transmitted files and sped up application installation for users.
