PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has filed its third lawsuit since the beginning of summer to recover debt from JSC Research and Production Corporation Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) for supplied metal products. This was reported by the UVZ press service.
The latest claim was filed with the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region on July 9. The amount of claims in it exceeds 73 million rubles.
In June, MMK filed two lawsuits, the total amount of claims for which amounted to over 30 million rubles. These lawsuits have already been accepted for production. In April, the plant presented UVZ with claims for 33 million rubles.
In recent years, enterprises have faced financial difficulties. This forces them to resolve issues in court. In 2022, UVZ accumulated debt of about 880 million rubles. However, the parties were able to reach a settlement agreement and agree on a payment schedule.
Earlier www1.ru reported that almost a billion rubles were demanded from the manufacturer of Tu-160 and Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
