The United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) announced the continuation of work on the TV7-117ST-01 power plant.
Based on the results of the flight tests of the Il-114-300 aircraft, all operational restrictions imposed by the certification results before being included in the aircraft were lifted from the engine.
Currently, work is also underway to increase the resource indicators of the power plant, UEC noted.
The ТВ7-117СТ-01 was certified back in December 2022. According to its technical characteristics, the power plant surpasses foreign analogues due to increased power in takeoff mode and includes a new AV112-114 propeller with increased thrust of 4 tons.
The engine is assembled from more than 8,000 parts. Its design uses components created using additive technologies — 3D printing.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft have completed half of the certification program.
