The head of the Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev, assessed the results of the implementation of the project to create components for the MC-21 aircraft. A number of components are produced at JSC "PROMTECH-Irkutsk" - a plant specially created for this purpose.
The company supplies products to the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, where new aircraft are assembled.
The company is supported by the Industrial Development Fund, and in 2021 it issued a preferential loan of 78.3 million rubles, of which 54.8 million rubles were provided by the federal IDF, 23.5 - by the regional one. The total cost of the project is 440 million rubles.
Thanks to this assistance, "PROMTECH-Irkutsk" purchased equipment for the creation of pipelines and sets of on-board cable networks. Production was established as part of import substitution.
I came in the fall, there was mud up to my knees, and now there is a three-story modern building. We see that the organization is working in full, they have recruited staff, they are making, let's say, a circulatory system for the MC-21 aircraft - frames, internal wiring. Many young specialists are working. Support will continue further.
